Datanyze Acquires LeadLedger to Continue Momentum in Lead Generation Space

December 22, 2014 Ilya Semin

Today, I’m excited to announce that Datanyze has acquired LeadLedger, a fellow provider of technology data and a key player in the lead generation space.

This is our first acquisition and comes at an extremely exciting time for the company. Just four months ago in August, we raised our first round of funding with strong contributions from IDG Ventures, Google Ventures, Mark Cuban and AngelList. Since then, we’ve grown at a steady 25% each month, nearly doubled our number of employees, and added more than 1,000 new users to the platform.

With the addition of LeadLedger, we will be expanding our overall technology coverage, and in particular, our coverage of the advertising space. LeadLedger currently tracks over 1,100 advertising technologies, and we will be adding these to our crawler soon to begin collecting valuable sales prospecting data for our customers. As a result of today’s acquisition, Datanyze can deliver even more qualified leads, accurate lead information and can increase overall sales results for businesses ranging from startups to the Global 2000.

As we mentioned back in August, we are only at the beginning of our journey to become the de facto lead generation solution for today’s best sales teams. We have already taken great strides, as we’re the trusted provider of technology data for companies like Marketo, Akamai, Dyn and KISSmetrics. But we will continue looking for these types of opportunistic deals that make Datanyze a stronger company.
