Chrome Extension Bubble

December 4, 2012 Jon Hearty

Yesterday we updated our Chrome Extension to offer one more valuable feature: now you can see a ‘bubble’ every time the technology you’re interested in is used by a current website.

Here’s how it works:

Let’s say you want your Datanyze Chrome Extension to show you the bubble every time a website is using KISSmetrics or Akamai (but not Marketo).

Step 1: Click ‘Settings’ in the top menu
Step 2: Select the checkboxes next to KISSmetrics and Akamai in the ‘Chrome Extension Bubble’ column

If you don’t see a particular technology you’re interested in tracking on the list you can add it at the bottom of the page.

From now on every time you visit a website that uses either of these technologies – the bubble shows up in the top right corner.

If you currently have the Datanyze Extension installed, you will need to update it directly from your browser and accept the new permission options. Those who have not started using it yet can always install it from Chrome Web Store.

As always, if you have any questions or feedback, feel free to send us an email!
